The best airports in the world according to the ASQ award.

The annual Airport Service Quality Awards (ASQ) recognize and award the best airports in the world according to the ACI ASQ Department Survey and ASQ Arrivals Survey. For airport operators, they represent the highest awards, as well as an opportunity to celebrate the commitment of airports around the world to constantly improve passenger service.

Since its inception in 2006, the ASQ Departures program has become the world's leading indicator of airport passenger satisfaction with the participation of about 400 airports in 95 countries. Its scientific methodology, strict quality control procedures and commitment to the principles of impartiality have won recognition in the industry and established the ASQ survey set as global standards for measuring passenger satisfaction.

ASQ is the only global airport survey based on the measurement of passenger satisfaction during their stay at the airport. About 670,000 passengers a year are interviewed before boarding their flight and asked to assess their satisfaction with the airport's services. In 2018, more than half of the world's 8.8 billion travelers passed through ASQ airport. The following year, ACI made changes to the ASQ Awards categories valid for the 2018 winners. These changes reflect the increasingly dynamic nature of the airport industry.
